This label distinguishes, on a voluntary basis, restaurants whose food is prepared entirely or for the most part in their own kitchens, without the use of pre-cooked dishes and products. labelfaitmaison.ch (french)

## Objectives

Three objectives have motivated the Association to promote this label 

to respond to consumers' desire for transparency 
to fight against the standardization of tastes 
to promote the know-how of Swiss gastronomy 

## Values

These objectives respond to three values expected today by the general public: 

traceability 
authenticity 
transparency 

A dish is considered as "Home-made" if it is cooked entirely on the spot from raw or traditionally used products. 
If a product does not meet the requirements of the specifications, it will be indicated on the menu.
